These spaces can present a hazard due to the presence of high concentrations of flammable and toxic gases due to equipment failure or rupture.<\/p>\n<p>It is therefore necessary to carry out a check using a portable gas detector before entering. This can be done using a manual or automated sampling system. Using a manual sampling system, the user draws in air to filter the solid particles before entering the device by pressing the pump.
